Huseyn Javid Ismayilov (Huseynjavid Ismayilov / Javid Ismayilov) was born in Baku.
His father was imprisoned together with the poet Huseyn Javid during the repression. He named his son Huseyn Javid because he cherished the poet's memory.
He worked at the "Azerbaijanfilm" and "Azanfilm" studios.
