Hatem Asgarov

Hatem Asgarov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1974-1979).
He worked as a director at the Agdam State Drama Theater by appointment (1979-1982). After the end of his appointment, he worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He directed several documentary plots for the satirical film magazine “Mozalan”. He shot documentaries at the Azerbaijani representative office of the “Mir” State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. Since 2013, he has been continuing his activities as a director in the Telefilm Creative Union of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC. He regularly publishes articles about film figures in the press.
