Gulnar Salmanova (Gulnar Gasimova) was born in the Khilli settlement of the Neftchala region.

She studied at the Musical Comedy Artist Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1981).

Since 1981, she has worked at the Musical Comedy Theater.

Honored Artist (2001) Gulnar Salmanova died in 2015 and was buried in the Yasamal cemetery.
