Gulchohra Abdullayeva was born in Baku.

She studied at the accordion, canon and piano classes of secondary specialized music school No. 24 (1984-1990), and at the Drama and Cinema Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Arts (1992-1996).

In 1992, she worked at the “Tabaessum” theater studio, in 1994 at the Tanqid-Tabligh Theater, then at the Irevan Azerbaijan State Drama Theater and the Ilham Miniature Theater.

Since 2007, she has been an actress of the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater.
