Grigori Braginski was born in Yekaterinburg.
He studied at the Projection Equipment Technical School.
Since 1926, he worked as a screenwriter, assistant director, and then as a director at the "Armenkino", "Vostokkino", and "Azerkino" studios. Since 1944, he was the editor-in-chief at the Tajik film studio, and later as a director and director of documentary films.
Grigori Braginski died in Moscow in 1964.
