Fuzuli Sabiroghlu

Fuzuli Sabiroghlu (Fuzuli Elyazov) was born in the village of Kichik Mazra, Basarkechar (now Vardenis) district of Goycha district.
He studied at the Azerbaijan Technical University (1986).
He began his literary work in the 80s of the 20th century. His first appearance in the republican press was in 1988 in the magazine "Ganjlik". Since then, his poems, stories and journalistic articles have been regularly published in the republican press. He was the editor of the magazine "Sahilsiz Deniz" (2003). He worked as an editor (2004-2008) and editor-in-chief (2008-2019) in the documentary film department of Lider television.
The documentary film series "Azerbaijani Castles", prepared by the creative team he led, was awarded the "Humay" National Award (2009).
