Fikret Ahadov was born in Baku. 

He studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School and the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (Gennady Myasnikov's workshop).

After graduating from the institute, he was assigned to the "Uzbekfilm" film studio. In the 1970s, he came to the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio and worked there until the end of his life.

He was an artist for the film "Return of the Commander" (1968, directed by Demir Salimov) by Uzbek film producers.

Honored Artist Fikret Ahadov died in 1994.
