Faig Dargahov

Faig Dargahov was born in Jabrayil.

He worked as the head of the teaching department at a secondary school in the Beylagan region (1953-1955), the head of the methodological office at the Education Department (1955-1957), the deputy editor of the Absheron newspaper (1962-1966), and the editor-in-chief (1966-1974).

He began his literary career while still in high school, publishing his columns in the Beylagan region newspaper called Lenin Bayrağı. His first story, titled "Help," was published in the Pioner magazine in 1951.

Faig Dargahov died in 1984.
