Amina Yusifgizi was born in Baku. She studied at the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Russian Language and Literature (1961). She was remembered for her performances at the Young Spectator Theater during her school years. She was an actress of the Azerbaijan State Young Spectator Theater (1958-1964), the Azerbaijan National Drama Theater (1964-1974).

Since 1974, she has worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. She worked at the film studio, a film actor, and a theater studio.

She also works in the field of dubbing and voice-over.

She is known as a master of artistic recitation.
She starred in the film “My Kind Father” (1970, directed by Igor Usov) by Russian film producers as Aunt Fatima.

Laureate of the Order of Glory (2016), Honored Artist (1982), People's Artist (1998) Amina Yusifgizi passed away in 2025.
