Elza Seyidjahan

Elza Seyidjahan (Elza Gasimova / Elza Ahmadova) was born in Siyazen.

She studied at the Theory Department of the Soltan Hajibeyov Secondary Specialized Music School (1982-1987), at the Composition Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1994-2000, Arif Malikov's class).

Since 2001, she has been working as a vocalist at the Azerbaijan State Song Theater. She has composed music for a number of theater and television performances. She took 1st place at the "Issyk-kul-2002" World Competition Festival (2002, Kyrgyzstan), received a special award from TURKSOY. She is an Honored Artist (2009).
