Elkhan Ahadzadeh was born in Baku.
He received his first art education at the Film Actor course of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. Later, he studied at the Musical Comedy Actor Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1972-1977).
Since 1969, he worked at the Russian Drama Theater, since 1977 at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater, and for a while at the Song Theater. Until the end of his life, he created many characters at the Musical Comedy Theater. He also performed on the stage of the Opera Theater.
Honored Artist (1998), People's Artist (2006) Elkhan Ahadzadeh died in 2010 and was buried in the Khirdalan cemetery.
