Eltan Gadimbeyli was born in Sadarak district.
He studied directing at the Theater and Cinema Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1995-1999), and at the Kiev State University of Cinema, Television and Theater (2010-2015).
He was the founder of the “Zarafat” studio (1996-1999), an assistant director at AzTV (2000-2002), the head of the “Gadimbayly Imagemaker Company” production company (2003-2005), the executive director of Khayal TV (2005-2006), Regional TV (2006-2007), and Janub TV (2007-2010).
Since 2011, he has been the director of Qafqaz TV.
He heads the “Cholchu” National Cultural Heritage Development Public Association.
