Eldar Mammadov

Eldar Mammadov was born in Baku.

He began his career as a lighting engineer on Azerbaijani television. He became a television operator in 1964. He worked as a leading operator on state-important broadcasts (1969–1983). He worked for the Central Television for two years at intervals, but did not accept the offer to become a permanent employee there. He is a production operator for more than 50 films and performances.

He is currently the artistic director of the operator group on Azerbaijani television.

He is a laureate of the "Humay" (1994) award, the "Teraqqi" medal (2006). He is an Honored Worker of Culture (1989).
