Elchin Asadov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of International Relations of Baku State University (1993-1997), and at the Rustam Ibrahimbayov Baku International Film School (2007-2010).
He was the winner of the “100 Words about Love” competition organized by the Russian Embassy (2009).
His articles are periodically published in the press.
His short films have participated in various festivals and have been awarded.
