Diana Hajiyeva (Dihaj) was born in Mariupol, Ukraine. She studied choral conducting at the Baku Academy of Music and at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. She has been involved in music since childhood. Over the years, she has begun to professionally engage in jazz. She created the music group Dihaj. The group mainly performs music in the pop, electronic and experimental genres. She represented Azerbaijan at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
