Brilliant Dadashova

Brilliant Dadashova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Musical Theater Actor's Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1990).

Her musical career began in 1983 with the songs of Eldar Mansurov. She first appeared on the big stage at the World Youth Festival in Moscow in 1985. In 1986, her first music album "Everything is Beautiful in Life" was released. In 1987, she won first place in a competition among Soviet performers. She is the first Azerbaijani singer to perform with a solo concert in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1986, she became a soloist of the Azerbaijani Television and Radio.

In 1993, she became the first leading singer in Azerbaijan by hosting the "This Evening" program on state television. She was the host of the programs “Beauty will save the world” on Space TV (2000-2005), “I am an artist” on Lider TV (2008), and “Pirlantalı Geceler” on the Turkish TMB channel (2012).
