Bahman Israfil oglu Aliyev was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School (1956) and the Art Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. In 1956, he was sent from the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio to Moscow to attend the animation course at “Soyuzmultfilm”.
For a while, he was an employee of “Soyuzmultfilm” (1956-1961). Since 1961, he has worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
Bahman Aliyev died in 1993.
