Aydin Talibzadeh

Aydin Talibzadeh was born in Baku.
He studied at the Theater Studies Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1976-1981).
He worked as a set decorator at the Azerbaijan State Radio and Television Company (1975-1976), and as a junior research worker at the Azerbaijan State Museum of Art (1983).
Since 1983, he has been teaching at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art. He is the head of the Theater Studies Department, professor, and a doctor of philosophy in art history (1989).
He defended his candidate's thesis on the topic "Poetics of Medieval Near Eastern Theater" in Moscow (1989).
He publishes articles, essays, and reviews in periodicals.
He was awarded the "Taraggi - Progress" medal (2013).
He is an Honored Artist (2015).
