Arif Abdurrahmanov

Arif Abdurrahmanov was born in Baku.
He studied Theater and Decor at the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V. Surikov (1974).
He worked as a production designer at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, as a production designer for performances staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater, Musical Comedy, Young Spectators and Opera and Ballet Theaters. He was a production designer for the musical comedy “Arshin Mal Alan” staged at the Jamal Rashid Bey Concert Hall in Istanbul. His works have been exhibited in Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Poland. He is the author of the book “The Role of the Artist in the Theater”.
He is an associate professor of the Academic Painting Department of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts.
He is an Honored Artist (2006).
