Amin Novruzov

Amin Novruzov was born in the village of Guzdek, Baku. He studied at the Cinematography Department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1978-1983, Vadim Yusov's workshop).

In 1969, he started working as an assistant cinematographer at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. For a while, he worked as an assistant in the Documentary Film Association. Since 1983, he has been working as a producer-cameraman at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio.

Since 1998, he has been teaching at the Department of Film Directing and Cinematography of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art and headed the department for a while (2004-2015).

In 2018, a textbook called "Photocomposition" and several programs and methodological recommendations, which he co-authored with Rafael Gambarov, were published.

He is an Honored Artist (2000).
