Almaz Amanova (Almas Amanova / Almaz Huseyn) was born in Sumgayit. She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1987).

She began her acting career at the Sumgayit State Drama Theater.

Since 1999, she has been an actress at the Academic National Drama Theater.

She starred in the film “Lost Share” (2007, directed by Hasan Najafi / Iran) by foreign film producers as Irada, in the TV series “Silah” (2008, directed by Alexander Kasatkin / Russia) as a village woman, and in the film “Traders” (2009 / Iran) as Nargiz.

She is an Honored Artist (2014).
