Alexandra Shirinova was born in Baku.
She studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School (1972). In 1977, she was accepted to animator courses at the “Azanfilm” animation studio.
Since 1989, she has been working as an animator at the “Azanfilm” studio. She continues to work as an animator, artist and director in many films.
