Agahuseyn Ashraf oglu Karimov was born in Baku. He studied at the Pharmaceutical Technical School and received an entomologist's degree at the Tbilisi Agricultural Institute. He worked in a pharmacy for a while. His friend Karim Amirov, who worked as a chief engineer at the film studio, invited him to the studio. Thus, he was accepted as an assistant sound operator in the historical-revolutionary film "Bakılılar", which was being prepared for filming at the film studio. Since then, he has worked as a sound operator at the film studio. He has starred in several films as an actor. Honored Engineer (1976) Agahuseyn Karimov died in 1991.
Sound operator Agahuseyn Karimov is the husband of director Zeynab Kazimova.
