Azerbaijan Filmmakers Union Film Award

Date of establishment: 2012

The Cinema Prize of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan was established on July 9, 2012. The prize is annual and is awarded to creative intellectuals of Azerbaijan for their services to the development of national cinematography. The purpose of the prize is to highlight positive trends in national cinema. The selection of nominees is carried out by the secretariat of the Union.
The winners of the prize are traditionally announced on National Cinema Day - a professional holiday held on August 2.
