Shamil, a 70-year-old simple peasant, owns a large pomegranate orchard that he has cultivated for years. Although one of the wealthy people of the village wants to buy the orchard, he does not sell it. After Shamil's son Qabil got married, he left his family with his father and went to Russia. Shamil lives with his daughter-in-law Sara and his 12-year-old grandson Jalal. One day, Qabil unexpectedly returns. He tells his father that he will take his family to Russia. Although selling the orchard is difficult for Shamil, he agrees to this for the sake of his daughter-in-law and grandson's future. The orchard is sold. Qabil suddenly leaves the village. He has his own reason for taking this step.
