Zemfira Sadigova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1961-1965).

She worked as an announcer on the radio for 7 years. Since 1974, she has worked at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio and the film actor theater studio operating under the film studio.

She is an Honored Artist (2007).

Actress Zemfira Sadigova was the wife of actor Yusif Valiyev.
