Telli Panahgizi
Telli Panahgizi (Telli Aliyeva) was born in the Vedi settlement of the Vedibasar district of Western Azerbaijan.
She studied Journalism at Azerbaijan State University (1971-1976).
She began her career at the Jafar Jabbarli Republican Youth Library. Since 1980, he has worked at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Committee, working as a correspondent (1980-1981), junior editor in the Youth editorial office (1981-1982), editor in the socio-political and economic information editorial office (1982-1992), deputy head of the Creative Union of the Information Studio "Screen of the Day" (1992-1993), head of the Information Service (1993–1995), director of the Second Program (1995–1997), deputy chief program director for the Second Program (1997–2005), deputy director of Television Programs (2005), head of the Literary Drama Department of the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater, and rector of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Academy.
Since 2019, she has been appointed a Council member of the National Television and Radio Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She began his artistic career as a student. Her poems, essays, and stories have been published in periodicals, and her books have been published.
She was awarded the “Golden Pen”, “H.B. Zardabi”, “Araz”, “Natavan”, “Ali media” awards. She was awarded the “Progress” medal (2008) and the “Order for Services to the Motherland, 2nd degree” (2024).
She is an Honored Worker of Culture (2006).
