Shahira Tajaddin (Shahira Karimova) was born in Zagatala.
She studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1981-1986).
After graduation, she became the head of the "People's Theater" at the Binagadi District House of Culture. She worked as a director at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. 1989-1999). Since 1999, she has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Professional Film Directors Guild. She was the executive director and press secretary of the Guild. Since 2014, she has been working as the director of the Guild. She was the director of the "Film" Producer Center (2007). He was the executive producer of the projects “Azerbaijan Film Commission” (2005), “Screening of Mugham” (2006), “Copyright Monitoring” (2009), “International Audiovisual Festival” (2001-2008), “New Breath for Our Silent Films” (2011), and the author and director of the “Amateur Film Festival” (2005-2007).
Director Shahira Tajaddin is the mother of actress Deniz Tajaddin.
