Nadir Shafiyev

Nadir Shafiyev was born in Baku.
He studied at the Baku Local Industrial Technical School (1985) and the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science (1996).
He has worked at the Azerbaijan State Television since 1993. Starting from the position of a freelance correspondent, he worked as an editor, senior editor, department head, and deputy editor-in-chief. He was the founder and director of the news department at the independent television and radio company "Sara". He headed the News and Analytical Programs Department of the Public Radio, and was a correspondent for the ITV correspondent station in the Russian Federation (2006-2007). He worked as the executive director of Türkel TV, broadcast in Tovuz, and later the ARB 24 channel (2013-2018).
