Irada Gozalova

Irada Gozalova (Irada Sayya) was born in Baku.
She studied at the Theater Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2000-2005), and at the Moscow Art Theater named after A. Chekhov, where she completed a master's degree in Theater Directing (2009-2011).
She interned at the Royal Court Theater in London and the Russian State Academic Drama Theater in St. Petersburg. She worked as an actress at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators (2000-2007), a director at the Azerbaijan State "YUĞ" Theater (2007-2009), and a chief director at the Ganja State Drama Theater (2014-2021). Since 2022, she has been the production director at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.
