Intigam Mehdizadehwas born in Ismayilli.
He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Azerbaijan State University.
He worked as a literary worker in the newspaper "Azerbaijani Zhanyali" (1970-1973). In 1973, he was accepted as an editor at the Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, and rose to the positions of senior editor, department head, and editor-in-chief (1973-2007). He headed the editorial office of "Youth and Sports". He was the editor of the "Bulag" program broadcast on Azerbaijan Radio. For a while, he worked as the Press Secretary and Head of the Publishing Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2007-2013). At the same time, he taught scriptwriting, screen dramaturgy, and literary work at the university. He published a series of articles in the press. The books "Bulag", "Maragli goja daglar", "Karvanin sarvani", "Tselli" and "Haranin oz dunyasi" have been published. He was awarded the "Hasan bey Zardabi" and "Golden Pen" awards of the Union of Journalists.
Intigam Mehdizadeh died in 2022.
