Intigam Hajili was born in the village of Askerabad, Bilasuvar region.

He studied at the Faculty of Art History of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1996-2000).

He worked as a correspondent and director at the “Kino+” newspaper (2004-2007), a correspondent at the “Bizim Yol” newspaper (2008), and a film and theater writer at the “Medaniyyet” newspaper (2008-2010). He worked as the director of the Askerabad Village Culture House of Bilasuvar region (2021-2022), deputy director (2022-2023) and acting director (2023-2024) of the Lankaran State Theater.

He was one of the first organizers of the “Start” International Student Film Festival. A book of poems entitled “Maneken sevgilim” was published (2008). He began directing since 2010. In 2012, he founded the "Cinema School" for the first time in the country in the form of acting, screenwriting and directing courses (initially called "Cinema Atelier", "Cinema Atelier"). He has worked as a director and producer in the theater field. He is the author, director and producer of several plays.

He is the executive producer of the "Cinema Days" project of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan (2022-2025).

He is a co-founder of the "MemuarFilms" production.
