Gasim Naghi

Gasim Naghi (Gasim Naghiyev) was born in the village of Tazakand, Ismayilli.

He studied at the Department of Theater Collective Directing of the Faculty of Artistic Creativity of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1994-1998).

He worked at the People's Theater operating in the Ismayilli District House of Culture (1991-1994). In 1995, he was accepted as a lighting artist at the Yugh State Theater, and from that year he began working as an actor in various performances produced at the theater. He worked as an assistant director (1998-1999), and since 1999 as an actor. He was the director of the dubbing editorial office at ATV (2007-2010). Since 2015, he has been working as a director at the Folklore Studio of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS.

He was awarded the "Humay" award (2015). He is an Honored Artist.

Actor Gasim Naghi is the husband of actress Natavan Geybani.
