Firudin Gurbansoy

Firudin Gurbansoy (Firudin Gurbanov) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute (1977).
He is the author of more than 100 scientific articles, a participant in international conferences and symposiums. Having independently studied the extinct languages of ancient Babylon, Persia and Elam, he translated historical documents in these languages from the original into our language. He is also engaged in artistic creativity. His plays have been staged in theaters. He is a laureate of the Mikayil Mushfig and Jafar Jabbarli awards. He works as the head of the department at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. He is a leading researcher at the Nizami Institute of Literature of ANAS.
