Azad Azerbaijan Television (ATV)
Date of establishment: 2000
"Azad Azerbaijan Teleradio Broadcasting Company" was registered by the Ministry of Justice on 13.05.1998 and began broadcasting on 25.12.2000.
During the first broadcast hours, the broadcast time was mainly composed of clips, feature films and cartoons.
Since 2002, it has started broadcasting news and information programs.
In 2009, the second channel called ATV International began broadcasting.
In 2011, the owner and management of the TV channel changed.
On 10.05.2011, the logo was changed.
Since September 2012, it has been completely renovated, and the daily broadcast has been extended to 24 hours. 93 percent of the total airtime of the television was made up of self-produced programs (programs and local series), 4 percent were films produced abroad, and 3 percent were advertising materials.
On 15.09.2015, the channel's image format was switched from 4:3 to 16:9.
On 21.12.2015, "HD" broadcasting began on "ATV+".
Since 04.01.2016, it has been broadcast on the Russian cable television "NTV Plus".
On 28.01.2022, it switched to HD broadcasting format on the "Azerspace-1" satellite.
Since 12.01.2024, the "ATV HD" TV channel has been broadcasting on the 23rd television channel (at a frequency of 490 Mhz).
For a while, a film studio operated under the Azad Azerbaijan Television, which was first called "Television Film Studio", and then "Vetenim Yaradijlig Birliyi".
