THE INTERNATIONAL PROJECT “AKIDOCS – DOCUMENTARY FILM DEVELOPMENT AND PITCHING” HAS BEEN LAUNCHED

The selection of participants for the international project “AKİDocs – documentary film development and pitching”, announced by the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan in early April, has been completed and the training has begun.

At the end of the training, which will last until April 29, participants with developed loglines and synopses will compete to win a cash prize by presenting their projects in front of a jury.
It should be noted that in the AKI “AKIDocs – Documentary Film Development and Pitching” training, a total of fifteen participants, including four observers, had their documentary film projects selected for professional development:

1. “Sweet Memories in an Abandoned Village” (director: Aynur Kazimova)
2. “Sky Nomads” (director: Aytac Suleymanova, producer: Elmaddin Suleymanov)
3. “A Long Time Has Passed Since the Photographer Came to the Village” (director: Azer Allahverdi, producer: Rafael Rzayev)
4. “The Alphabet of the World” (director: Eljan Mammadov, producer Zarif Bekirova)
5. “My Grandfather, My Father and Me” (director: Haji Safarov)
6. “Unnamed Memory” (director: Nargiz Mammadli, producer: Alamdar Faig)
7. “The Resident of the 13th Floor” (director: Parviz Hasanov, producer Parvane Hasanova)
8. “Crystal” (Director Ruslan Mollayev, producer Sabina Jafar)
9. “Little Pigeon Enthusiast” – (Director: Shahin Huseynily)
10. “A Man Deprived of His Freedom” – (Director: Intigam Hajily, producer Shahin Huseynily)
11. “My Virtual Home” (Director Ulviyya Ahmadova, producer Nijat Dadashov)
12. “Fashion/Insignificance” – (Director: Anar Salahov)
13. “Beauty of the Sea” (Director: Sevinj Mahmudova)
14. “The House That Sincerely Waits for You” (Director: Alide Mahmudova)
