THE FILM “REVERSE SHADOWS” PARTICIPATES IN THE 21ST KAZAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Film critic and director Haji Safarov is participating in the “Short Films” section of the 21st Kazan International Film Festival with his debut short film “Shadows in Reverse”. Produced by “Chinarfilm”, “Shadows in Reverse” is based on the novel “Shadows Walking in Reverse” by Rahim Dunyamali, and the screenplay is written by Haji Safarov.
The film, which tells the story of a man and a woman who, after a long separation, isolate themselves in a cave and begin to reckon with the years, stars Rasim Jafar and Zulfiya Nazar Mammadova.
The film “Shadows in Reverse” was produced with the support of the Azerbaijan Cinematographers Union, “Ultra Production” and “Duyme Agency”, and its producers are Emin Najaf, Turkan Huseyn and Haji Safarov, and the cinematographer is Elvin Mammad.
The film “Shadows in Reverse” is one of the winners of the “Support Competition for Films in Post-Production Stage” of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
