THE BOOK "AZERBAIJAN CINEMATOGRAPHERS" HAS BEEN PUBLISHED
The book “Azerbaijani Cinematographers” has been published with the support of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan. The book “Azerbaijani Cinematographers”, written by Honored Art Worker Rafael Gambarov, discusses how cinematographers conquered the world, the nuances of professional taste, the work of a director, a cameraman, a writer’s imagination, and the joint cooperation of all three, as well as the style of Alisattar Atakishiyev, Teyyub Akhundov, Khan Babayev and other cinematographers.
The main purpose of publishing the book, which is intended for teaching purposes, is to benefit from the experience gained and inherited in cinema by master cinematographers and at the same time to study the unique cinematic style of prominent cinematographers, directors, artists, actors and composers. In addition to general information, the book also devotes a large amount of space to the study of cinematographic imagery.
It should be noted that the monograph “Azerbaijani Cinematographers” was compiled by Rafael Gambarov, a high-class cinematographer who has shot 16 feature films and more than 30 documentaries, as well as by 4th-year students of the Cinematographer Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.
The author and compiler of the book is Rafael Gambarov, the editor is Honored Art Worker, critic Intigam Gasimzadeh, the reviewers are Honored Art Worker, director Huseyn Mehdiyev, Honored Art Worker, cinematographer Rafig Guliyev. Along with professional experts, the book also includes articles by young cinematographers – Mammad Amin Alizadeh, Sadig Aliverdibayli, Babek Abbaszadeh, Samir Aliyev, Ismayil Jafarov and Adil Mammadov.
