ILGAR SAFAT'S FILM "NATIVE LAND" WAS CONSIDERED AWARD-WORTHY IN TURKEY
Azerbaijani director Ilgar Safat's feature film "Native Land" won two awards at the "V Goldenhorn IFF" international film festival held in Istanbul. The "5th Goldenhorn IFF" festival, organized by the "Fotofilm Culture and Arts" organization in cooperation with the Faculty of Communication of Istanbul Aydin University, took place in Istanbul on December 10-12. 44 feature-length feature, documentary, and student films from 30 countries competed for the "Golden Horn" award in the animation and experimental categories.
At the award ceremony held at Istanbul Aydin University, the film "Native Land" was awarded two awards by the decision of the professional jury: "Best Feature Fiction Academic Award" and "Best Director of Photography".
The screenplay "Native Land" was produced at the "Narimanfilm" film studio. The film's general producer is Nariman Mammadov. The main roles are played by Rustam Jabrayilov and Alina Vorontsova. It should be noted that the film was also screened at the "Gorgud Ata" International Film Festival of the Turkic World held in Aktau, Kazakhstan in October.
