FILMING OF THE MOVIE "DEAD HASAN" HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The shooting of the film "Dead Hasan", a joint production of Azerbaijan and Turkey, has already been completed.
The film, produced by "Ultra Production", "Poetika Film" (Turkey) and the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan, is being realized with the support of Dev Film and Public Television.
The film, whose producers are Emil Najafov, Parviz Mammadov, Ali Isa Jabbarov, Duygu Daveli, co-producers Emrah Kılıç, Sevinj Aliyeva, executive producer Elmaddin Aliyev, is directed by Turkan Huseyn. The film's scriptwriters are Turkan Huseyn and Ismail Iman, production designer Vasif Velizadeh, production designer Turan Yusifova, composer Nigar Suleyman, second director Asif Isganderli, sound operator Emin Mahmudov, gaffer Ali Abilov, focus puller Ruhin Mirzayev, and makeup artist Adila Aliyeva.
The villagers, who think that the hero of the film, Hasan, is dead, believe that he has mystical powers when he opens his eyes. The subsequent course of events begins to unfold around Hasan, and the script is developed based on this mystical atmosphere. At the same time, in addition to mystical realism, the film also combines elements of drama, thriller and black humor.
The film stars Gurban Ahmadov, Natavan Abbasli, Gurban Ismayilov, Turkay Jafarli, Orkhan Iskanderli, Ulvi Hashim, Ramil Mammadov, Matlab Abushov, Sevinj Aliyeva, Eltekin Khan, Nigar Mammadova, Aziza Hashimli, Leyli Valiyeva and Vagif Karimov. The casting of the film was carried out by the “Next Cast” Agency.
The filming processes were carried out in the Shamakhi region, as well as in the central parts of Baku, in the Gobustan, Zira and Sahil settlements.
The film is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Public Television and the Ozsut restaurant chain.
The feature-length film is intended for the 13+ age category. The film, which will be completed in 2026, will first be screened at international festivals and then presented to audiences in cinemas.
