CINEMA AGENCY ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR “FILM PROJECTS TO BE PRODUCED BY THE STATE ORDER” FOR THE YEAR 2025!
Full-length feature films will be accepted in the competition, which will be held with the aim of financing the production of films that play an important role in the preservation and promotion of national and spiritual values, the formation of the national and patriotic spirit, and demonstrate national identity with artistically effective forms and exemplary images, as well as supporting the film industry and representatives of the private sector related to the relevant field.
Topics of the competition:
• About a famous figure (cultural, literary, political, sports, etc.)
• About the historical Azerbaijani state or historical event
• Based on the motifs of Azerbaijani fairy tales or epics
• About the heroes of modern innovation events
• About women who left their mark on the history of Azerbaijan
• About the Patriotic War in the image of heroes of the Patriotic War
• Adaptation of classic Azerbaijani films to our modern era
• A film whose hero is a child and appeals to children
• A film in the musical genre
• A film in the topical satirical genre dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Mozalan
The competition is open to legal entities registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan and operating in the field of cinematography with film projects presented in Azerbaijani.
Acceptance of applications for the competition will begin on 01.09.2025.
