A NEW SHORT MELODRAM "CHARLOTTE" IS BEING FILMED
The shooting of the short feature film "Charlotte" by director Ali-Sattar Guliyev, which will be released in 2026, has already been completed.
The script of the film, which is in the melodrama genre, is written by Ali-Sattar Guliyev, the cinematographer is Vasif Velizadeh, the artist is Sabina Jafar, and the producer is Ali-Sattar Guliyev. The film stars Murad Shukurlu, Shamil Suleymanli, Abulfaz Iskenderov, Sara Ismayilova and Rustam Babazadeh.
The film, which is rated 12+, is a melancholic drama about a young man who is trying to give his cat to kind hands before leaving for a foreign country. According to the director, this story is not just about saying goodbye to a cat for him. With this film, he wants to show how deep the moments of separation leave a mark on human life.
The project, which was shot with the financial and organizational support of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan, was supported by Ultra Production and Cult Baku Cultural Club. ITV, CNF Production and Narimanfilm also supported the film.
The film is 13 minutes long and will be screened at the Nizami Cinema Center.
