Yelena Spitsina was born in Elektrostal, Moscow Region.
She studied at the Khimki School of Cultural Education, majoring in choral conducting, and at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts, Faculty of Cinema and Theater Acting (1989).
Since 1989, she has been working at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
She is an Honored Artist.
