Yefim Abramov (Ifraim Abramov / Efraim Abramov) was born in Baku.

He studied at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1974-1980, I. Talankin's course).

He worked as a director at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio (1980-1990).

He starred in the film "Coffee with Lemon" (1994, director Leonid Goroves / Israel, Russia) by foreign film producers as an administrator, and was the scriptwriter for the TV series "Under the Sky of Verona" (2004, directors Vladimir Krasnopolsky, Valery Uskov / Russia, Israel).

Since 1990, he has lived in Ashdod, Israel.
