Vugar Jamalzadeh was born in Baku.
He studied at the piano class of music school No. 3 (1983-1991), the Energy Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (1991-1996), the Composition Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Music (1996-2000, Ismayil Hajibeyov's course / 2004-2006-master's degree).
He works with the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic, the Yugh State Theater, the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater.
He is an associate professor at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
