Vugar Mammadaliyev was born in Sumgayit.
He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1997).
He worked as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater (1995-1999), the “Ilham” Miniature Theater (1999-2000), and the Baku Camera Theater (2006-2009). Since 2009, he has been an actor at the Azerbaijan State Young Spectator Theater. He has starred in commercials and music videos.
Actor Vugar Mammadaliyev is the husband of actress Ruhiyya Hasanova.
