Teymur Bakirzadeh

Teymur Bakirzadeh was born in Baku. He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Physical Education, the Film Studies Faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, and the Higher Directing Courses in Moscow (1974).
He directed more than 40 documentary and feature films at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
The documentary “Dissonance” he shot in 1978 won awards at several festivals.
He was not lucky enough to complete his last film, the feature film “Nicknamed “IKA”, and later his friends completed the film.
Honored Artist (1991) Teymur Bekirzade died in 1995.
Director Teymur Bakirzadeh is the brother of director Nijat Bakirzadeh.
Director Teymur Bakirzadeh is the father of sound director Bakir Bakirzadeh.
