Tazagul Hidayet (Tazagul Mammadova) was born in Nakhchivan.

She completed her secondary education, art and music school in Nakhchivan and Shamkir. She took dance lessons in Binali Mamukashvili's dance ensemble.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1991-1996).

In her childhood, she won the song contest held in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and later the Republic of Azerbaijan (1982). She was a soloist of the Shamkir Mugham Theater, the "Ojag" Folklore Ensemble and the Folk Instrument Ensemble. She was a soloist of the dance ensemble operating under the university. She worked in the youth dance ensemble.

She worked as an actress at the Baku Municipal Theater (1992) and the Young Audience Theater (2006-2009).

She starred in the foreign film producers' film "Angel Day" (1992, directed by Bahruz Afghami / Iran), the TV series "Drongo" (2002, directed by Zinoviy Roizman / Russia), the TV series "Assassination" (2004, directed by Vadim Ostrovsky / Russia), the TV series "European Side" (Turkey), and the TV series "Compulsory Chairman" (Turkey).

She has been an actress of the Baku Municipal Theater since 2023.

She is an Honored Artist (2002).
