Tariyel Gasimov was born in the village of Kochasgar, Agstafa region. In 1956, he was admitted to the Institute of Physical Education. While studying at the Institute of Physical Education, he began attending Lutfi Mammadbeyov's drama club. As a second-year student, he played a role in a play at the Young Spectators Theater. In 1960, with a letter from the theater management, he transferred to the Azerbaijan State Theater Institute and was admitted to the Faculty of Cinema and Drama Acting - Rza Tahmasib's course. While in his third year, he was hired by the Drama Theater. In 1964, he graduated from the Faculty of Drama and Cinema Acting of the Azerbaijan State Theater Institute. Since 1964 (with a certain break), he has been an actor of the Young Spectators Theater. He is the production director of several plays. He worked at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater and in 1967, at the Azerbaijan Theater, which was reopened in Yerevan. In 1968, he returned to Baku and worked as an assistant director at a film studio. In 1972, he returned to the Young Spectators Theater. Since 1997, he has been sent to the Kazakh State Drama Theater as an artistic director and director. He currently works at the Young Spectators Theater.
