Seymur Shahbazzadeh (Seymur Shahbazov) was born in Sumgayit. He studied at the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science (1991-1996).

In 1997-2003, he served as a regional military correspondent for the “Azerbaijan Army” newspaper, an organ of the Ministry of Defense. He is a reserve officer, captain. In 2004-2006, he worked as an editor of military programs and the author of documentaries on “Lider” television. Since 2019, he has been an editor at the “Sabah” Creative Studio of Azerbaijan Television.
